2009 Founding of the WWSG
2010 Construction of the first small and compact wastewater treatment plants in an industrial environment
2011 Mgmt Buy-Out by Ing. Reinhard Pregartbauer | GINZLER Group takes a stake in WWSG | Relocation of the company headquarters to Bachmanning, 4672 Austria
2012 Construction of the first container sewage treatment plant with MBR system in 20 ft. container (capacity 146 m3/day, 960 PE)
2013/14 International projects, expansion
2015 WWSG operational management of stationary container sewage treatment plants in the municipal area in Austria (24/7)

2018 Strong expansion in the military sector and WWSG operational management of stationary container treatment and water treatment plants, internationally
2020 ISO 9001 certification
2021 Development of a mobile wastewater monitoring for COVID analysis in cooperation with the UNI Innsbruck, Austria

The internationally active GIS Aqua Group is a renowned and reliable partner in water treatment. The company, headquartered in Amstetten, Austria, emerged from the two experienced EPC organizations Ginzler Stahl- & Anlagenbau and Aqua Engineering North Africa.

GIS Aqua offers solutions in the areas of wastewater, drinking water and desalination. The portfolio also includes solutions for storing and pumping water, including retention and storage basins, pumping stations and hydropower plant systems.

GIS Aqua also has excellent knowledge in the production of key components.

Thanks to its experienced view of overall functionality and high quality requirements, the company can boast numerous reference projects.
