Since the RNA of the corona virus is recognizable in the excretions of already infected persons without them already having symptoms of disease, quantification in wastewater is an accurate method of early detection and the initiation of preventive measures.

Know-how from the Institute of Molecular Biology

In cooperation with the Institute for Molecular Biology at the University of Innsbruck, we from Wastewater Solutions Group GmbH, have developed a self-sustaining laboratory with the latest, state-of-the-art laboratory equipment that works fully automatically and does not require any calibration.

Obtaining reliable and comprehensive information on the development of total infection rates in specific regions or areas is essential for the decision-making process, as is proof of the effectiveness of preventativ measures.

By means of wastewater monitoring other substances such as drugs (legal or illegal) can also be detected and other viruses, germs and bacteria can be quantified (e.g. norovirus, multi-resistant germs, ...).

Our mobile laboratory guarantees analyses of the highest quality. It provides the necessary data on the increase or decrease in the number of cases of corona infections in wastewater by means of RNA detection (genetic information).
