The future congress on SDG topics - for students in the 3rd - 5th HTL classes from Upper Austria, Salzburg and Upper Styria took place on November 9th, 2022 in the Toscana Congress Gmunden.
We were there and look back on a successful and positive day. There were workshops on all relevant environmental issues and the students were also able to obtain information from the booths of the exhibiting companies in order to get an idea of what the individual exhibitors are doing to implement the UN goals for “sustainable development”.
On the subject of water, in particular wastewater treatment and reuse, our Mr. Dr. Kerschberger gave an interesting lecture, which was very well received by the youth. Afterwards there was the opportunity for discussion and questions.
Inspired by the lively exchange of highly interested students, we look positively to the future.
